Dec. 31st. 2012

Today I got reminded of a truth which I must share. When you harbor fear, resentment, hate or any of the negative emotions, you are as sick as if you had cancer, or any other disease. Until you are ready to give up any negativity you can not be cured of anything brought on by it. It does not affect the people who the negativity is directed at but the person who harbors the negativity.
Please be ready to change yourself if you are going to heal yourself.

Elders Wisdom: "I don't care what religion you follow. I don't care what politics you espouse. As long as you care for and protect other life forms beside two legged, as long as you speak for those who have no voice, as long as you stand against war for any reason you are doing the job the two legged were put on Mother Earth to do". In most native communities the rights of children under six are protected by the parents and other parents who have such children. Children be from six to twelve have a right to speak but are protected by both parents and the elders. Once a boy or girl reaches thirteen they become fully able to decide for them self. At that time they join in the councils, speak for them self and are also liable for their actions. This is a basic right of all children.

1: Freedom from violence both from governments and each other.
This includes wars, executions and use of troops or police to punish protesters.
All use of force by the police should be investigated by a grand jury or similar Judicial tribunal not related to or beholden to the police.

2: A world wide guarantee of food, clothing, medicine and shelter at least at a minimum level for all people.

3: A guarantee of education for all men and women.  This includes the teaching of critical thinking. Especially critical thinking which is the capability of understanding and rejecting government or employers actions. This education must be from cradle to grave and controlled by the people affected. It is not just educating to make better employees who perform without asking questions. It must also be education in the humanities and arts.

4: Freedom to be included in government decisions. If nothing less then local councils who have the right to propose better solutions for them self. This must also include the right of prisoners to ask for and suggest better treatment and rehabilitation.

5: Uniformly applied laws. No more laws aimed at minorities. If the police are going to stop and frisk in a Black. Asian, Hispanic or native  neighborhood it must also be equally applied to Wall Street or K Street or the gated communities.

6: Freedom to participate in or reject religion based on your choice and nothing but your choice. No laws may be based on religious standards but all laws must be uniform in application.

7: The right of minorities and tribal units to self government, based on the standards of the tribe. However that tribe also has the power to try and punish infractions against it or it's people the same as any other government and this includes infractions by a colonizing government.

8: The right of every member of society to meaningful and rewarding employment. Be it a Medical Doctor, police officer, lawyer, artist or farmer. Society is built not on uniformity of work and rewards but on diversity and each contributing as she/he is capable.

9: All laws must be written not in legalize but in the plain language understood by everyone. Corporations may be formed for limited time and specific purpose which must include a public interest. Any corporation which wishes to extend the time must prove  additional public good.

10: Add your ideas here and send them on.

When Uncle Bob and some of the other elders were teaching us boys and girls to shoot a bow they did it by steps. First they took a small hoop and placed it at our feet until we could put the arrow in it every time. Then they moved it further away.  By the end of the day we were shooting the length of the yard at a hoop they rolled in front of us and hitting it. The same can be said for anything you want to learn or do. Break it up into simple steps and take each step in turn. After a while you also will be hitting a 8" hoop rolled a hundred feet away.

I once again must speak out for the elders, the medicine people, the story tellers, the water pours, the singers and the herb medicine people of all the nations. If you go to them for help you take tobacco or one of the sacred herbs as a contract between you and them. After they have helped you however much you gift them with frog skins today. It used to be these people were a resource for the tribe and were provided with food, clothing lodging and what ever other needs they had because they were available to everyone 24/7. They are no less valuable today then they were a century ago.

Use what you take from Mother or her children and never take more then you need. Work with respect for the people and other life which surrounds you and they will respect and care for you. Above all learn the wisdom does not always come from a book but from little children, animals and each other. Learn that the more you give away the more you have. Learn that you can never own another, instead give them respect and freedom and they will draw closer to you.

OCT. 1ST. 2012

Each and every human being has different talents, thoughts, understanding's and above all a different way of relating to the world. This is in answer to someone else's post on a list I belong to. do you not talk about a difference you have just because you might be kidded or shunned or whatever for being different? This is about myself and what makes me human.
Even our dreams are unique and meaningful if you just pay attention. I told my wife a while back that someone was pregnant. The next day she called to say she was pregnant and had just told her husband.  I know of dangers to people I care about well ahead of time and unless thru their attitude I know not to tell them I do warn, so they might change the outcome. Not so much now as a few years back but I used to know when Mother was going to have a major Earthquake and where.  I also when I was younger and used to hunt for food for my elders, I could ask before I went out and find a animal within a few min. I also knew without knowing how, where to find missing people and if they would be located alive or dead.  Had a hard time getting anyone to listen to me with that one. Everyone has different abilities, unless we share them people will think they are weird because they see, hear or feel things others don't. I have seen at least a few children who had special abilities who had it beaten out of them. It's time to say I am different because I am human. If I was like everyone else I would not be truly human.

I was sitting in the kitchen peeling potatoes when one of my Aunt's walked into Grandmothers kitchen. Grandmother and Kathy were folding bread dough so it would rise properly (no they never kneaded it, but folded it). Aunt Lucy had a broken nose, black eyes and a broken arm. Grandmother asked what happened. She responded that son or a *&^% husband of mine came home drunk last night and beat me. I hate the Ba****d.

Grandmother looked at he and responded. " Anyone or anything you hate is not hurt by your hatred, so let go of it now, it only harms you. If you feel afraid of what he might do, go your separate ways but do not do so with a heart full of hate for anyone or anything. Hatred causes cancer, madness and early and painful death for the one holding it. It eats you alive starting with your stomach and your ability to relate to to anyone or anything from that day on."

could be forced into bankruptcy and loose everything, then who's
property is it? Adopt the habit of land and home you are the caretaker,
your children are not yours, but somebody you help grow and hope they
accomplish more then you did, but that is a choice they face. not you.
Remember they teach you as much as you teach them during the growing

Grandmother and the other elders taught me long ago that The difference in worship was not difference but a difference in the peoples history. Not a difference in purpose but a difference in language. The difference in creation myths is not a difference but different times for the people and lands to form. Thus despite the attempt to prove superiority over others is but a way to excuse the greed, murder and slavery imposed on other people. Once we were all the same color and family. People have forgotten that.

I have met more then one person who excused poor behavior on just being themselves. My response is if your going to be your self why not be the best self you can. If your actions hurt others, are strictly self serving or just irresponsible they are not being your best self. If your actions and words lead to harm to you or those close to you they are not being your best self. At least try to be the person you would most admire. Everyone on Earth has a lesson we need to learn if we just stop and look and listen. The young children show us how we are supposed to approach life. They are smiling, loving and without worries most of the time. They don't worry about money or any other artificial things. They only have three needs which even the smallest and newest can express. To be fed when they need it. To have their pants changed when they are full or wet. Last and not least to have love and attention. Do any of those needs change as we age? Really we only add one other need as we advance in age. The need to have something meaningful to do with our lives. This applies to everyone. Big Tree 8/25/2012

Who is your community? Perhaps it's the people you grew up with even though they do not live close. Perhaps your community consists of your fellow church goers or people you work with. Or your community consists of fellow club members or even those you share drugs with. Very rarely does it consist of members of the opposite sex or another race. Why, because you were taught to fear anyone unlike yourself. Like Uncle Gus told me one time when I was visiting him." You see this neighborhood, it looks poor. It's rich if you get to know the people. I know everyone from the black family next door to the Chicano family next to my shop and everyone who i pass in the three blocks from here to the shop. They all have the same hopes and dreams. They all have parents they love or children they hope will grow out of this neighborhood. The only reason I know these people is because I made it my business to stop and talk to them. Take them groceries when I found out they didn't have enough to eat. Get small presents when someone had a birthday. Bought flowers when a death occurred. Celebrate with, shared my thoughts and opinions with them every chance I got and more important listened to their opinions, hopes, dreams and fears. I hope you will learn to do the same."

This is to compare true prayer with false prayer. False prayer is loud long and ritualistic. False prayer is said on street corners, in meetings and at worship service to show everyone how pious and spiritual the prayer is. False prayer is the saying of petitions and such to be relieved of some defect. False prayer is that said to prevent some catastrophe from happening. These prayers never work for three main reasons. First they have no real force behind them. Second they are not performed as true prayer but wishful thinking. Third the problem being addressed is not let go of.
So what is real prayer? Real prayer is something that should be practiced every moment of every day. It is forming a picture of what is desired as if it is already accomplished. You see it, feel it taste, smell or experience it as if you were n the future and seeing the results of your prayer. No words are needed with true prayer and nobody has to know you are praying. When you have sent this you drop all thoughts of the prayer confident it will be accomplished. Then go on to whatever you are doing in your life then. This is the most important step in true prayer, to let go and let your higher self, or whatever power including Great Mystery bring it into being. If you continue to worry and fear that is your true prayer and that is what will be brought into being.

It's hard to comprehend that the Government of the Six Nations and the Government of the United States both came from the Great Law of Peace. Remember the traditional chiefs were chosen by the women in secret, without the men being considered even knowing who was being considered. They were chosen by who has treated his mother, sister, wife and daughters the best. Who has helped his village, friends and even strangers the most. Who has taught the children and watched over them without being asked. Who has given of his own for the sick injured and those without. Sometimes it took weeks of discussions for the women to finally choose a new chief. The law making is different to. The subject of the council was announced by the firekeeper (president or senior chief) then the person next to him spoke about what he thought should be done. It went around the circle with every person speaking and at times asking for clarification on what someone had said before. If they came to consensus within four rounds of discussion then the decision was given to the women to approve up or down. If not the subject could not be brought up again for a year. Yes it is hard to think of the savage and the civilized governments of the two nations. The Savage has only either or as a model. The civilized has peaceful and respectful discussions that result in consensus. Big Tree 7/30/2012

Community

Community is built on shared experience, shared ideas, shared play and shared bread. Most people are afraid of the idea of sharing because they think others will rip them off. It's up to us show them the rewards can be greater then the risk. It can't be done based only on money for money in true community is only a system of barter. A way to ensure everyone shares in the gifts of the community. we all seek community, when in truth the whole world is our community. Every stranger is a friend waiting to be found, every person down is the one who will help you when your down. If you don't worship money you are half way to community all ready. Big Tree 6/17/2012

Within the tribal structure you often had people who displayed the
riches of their society. However they were never the chiefs, the
peacemakers, the medicine people or the ceremony leaders.

Those people were among the poorest because they lived as examples of
the giveaway. The sharing of what you have with others who's needs are
greater then yours. The tribe supported them knowing that most of what
was given to them for their work would in turn be given back to the tribe.

Too bad that today's politicians, MD's, religious leaders and NGO
leaders don't follow this example.
Perhaps we need to choose our leaders based on how they live rather then
what they say.
Perhaps more people need to show the way. I try to do so.

Solstice ceremony The night before at Sunset a sacred fire is lit. This fire is given during the time from dark until midnight the bad things and misfortunes of the previous six months. The fire from midnight till morning is given the hopes and dreams of the people. At sunrise on the first full day of the new season we greet the Sun with the following greeting. First you smudge to cleanse yourself that the ceremony is performed properly. Good Morning Grandfather. Thank you for your light and warmth. Thank you for impregnating Mother Earth that we her children might have life. Thank you for providing us with a pale reminder of the far greater light beyond you. Since the next solstice is the 20th. Of June and the first full day of Summer is on the 21st. The ceremony will be on the morning of the 21st. After you greet the Sun you move to the West of the circle. You then call on the spirit of Fall to come help heal Mother earth. You ask the spirit of the Elders, the spirit of strength and the spirit of wisdom to assist in healing Mother. The you give a small gift of corn pollen or corn meal and move to the North of the circle. You call the Spirit of Winter to come help heal Mother. You ask the Spirit of New, the healing energy and the transformed to help you in this healing ceremony. Then once again you give your corn gift and move on. You call the Spirit of Spring, the giver of visions, the future and protector of the young to come help heal Mother. Then you give your corn gift and move on. Now you are facing the direction of the new season. Welcome the New season The season of Adulthood, love and growth. Ask the spirit of the season to help Heal Mother Earth. Now go to the center of the circle. Ask Mystery/Creator to use you as a hollow bone to help Heal Mother Earth. Hold your hands about 4” apart in front of you until you feel a tingling or warmth. The spread your hands at shoulder level and ask that the healing energy go to the places it is most needed. When you do not feel the warmth or tingling any more bring your hands together and give a big thank you. Then say AHO, AMEN or However you complete a prayer. The leave the circle and go break your fast. On the next season just start your ceremony one season over until after a year you have circled the seasons. Big Tree 6/13/2012

For someone needs to balance them self today and others know someone who needs healing. The following chant or sacred sounds has the purpose of bringing healing to every part of a person. This in different forms was taught to me by at least five elders. I give the method I have found to work for me. Each of the sounds is of equal importance for each brings a different aspect of the spirit or immune system into harmony. AH repeated four times. Starting as high a note as you can reach and sweeping downward to the lowest note you can reach, for all healing comes from above and has to fill the body from top to bottom. then AY again repeated four times as given. then EE repeated four times as given. then II repeated four times as given. then U or OO repeated four time as given. then then Y repeated four times as given. then OH repeated four times as given. Followed bu a sincere thank you, Ah HO or Amen Best used with the burning of sage to help cleanse self or who you are giving this gift to. Big Tree 6/12/2012

Have you noticed those who come back from the light never come back because they want to or for personal reasons. It's always to do something or other for everyone. Have you noticed those who respond to the still small voice never hear good job or take it easy. It's always go tell Pharaoh too let my people go or change what you are doing for that way leads to death. I guess all of us need to listen to that voice more. I do not belong to or follow any religion for they are all corrupt. However I do believe all prophecy whatever it's source contains both warnings and guidance within. Even Jonah was sent to warn of destruction if the people didn't change. I don't know what source he had but I have seen that in the cases where I am given a glimpse of the future. Creator/Great Mystery always uses men and women to accomplish good changes. It is never done in a standoffish way but it involves a Moses parting the Sea or the sudden flash of knowledge given to people like Tesla when he designed the electric motor. It does not take a genius to say" I will make war no more", just the inspiration of a still small voice. Listen then act is what I was taught so many years ago. Big Tree 6/5/2012

That or they ask the source not for what the want but a whole list of complaints and fears which bring direct results of their prayer in the continuation of their problems. Either approach is in direct violation of the law of prayer. For each is actually a prayer for the problem being prayed about to continue. Instead visualize in every way you can being free of the problem. Make your vision so real you can see, feel and whatever the problem as gone. Then say a simple thank you to whatever you think source is and go about your life as if the help you need has already come. That is true prayer. Remember the definition of prayer is talking to your source. Meditation is listening to your answers. Big Tree 6/2/2012

I usually do not repeat something I have sent before. This one is important enough to send not once or twice but weekly if necessary. It has to d with mans failure to be a good steward of Mother Earth. I could add to this list have you sen the family tore apart by a coal dust explosion that could have been prevented? Have you seen the streams that used to provide drinking water covered and destroyed by mountain top removal? Have you watched a National park loose 40 % of it's trees because a coal burning power plant was sending nitric acid into it? I have. That is my local park (The Smokey Mountains) Have you seen the cost of air, water and ocean pollution caused by mans activities? I HAVE! Have you watched the blue sky turn a dirty brownish gray, I have. Have you watched the oceans fish and coral die off, I have. Have you seen the litter and trash alongside the roads, I have. Have you seen the forest raped for profits, I have. Have you seen the sprawl as people try to flee the cities and take the cities with them., I have. Have you seen the birds and animals die off because they have no place to live or nest, I have. Have you felt Mother Earth sob at what we are doing to her, I have. I look in the mirror and see the person who is doing this, I look in the mirror and see the person who can change this, have you? Big Tree 4/10/2011

Among other things the Great Law of Peace told the tribes to welcome into the longhouse any other tribe that came in peace. It also told them to welcome anyone who sought to trace the roots of peace. It gave a means to make relatives. Where is this being followed today? That was just the first call to bring all the tribes together in a coalition because a single twig snaps but a bundle of twigs can't be broken. Every tribe I know of had making of relatives, ways to treat those who came in peace and so on. We need today a single voice for every tribe, and people. We need today to extend from Pt. Barrow to the tip of S. Turtle Island. We need to speak with one voice for the rights and the treaties that have been forced on us and broken repeatedly by the colonist. We need to work together for peace, social juistice, the rights to conduct our own governmental affairs without colonial supervision or colonial theft of our land, resources and children. We need a dance of unity, of empowerment not just for the First Nations nor the Tribes of North America but for all tribes everywhere, including the tribes of Africa, the Gypsies and the hill tribes and minorities of Asia. I am too old to lead this effort, who will step up. Who will say it's time for the women to speak out, for the elders to stand up and for the warriors to do their duty of protecting the weaker members of society by crating a government big enough and strong enough to protect all of them. Not a Representative government ,that is failing even in the U.S. but a confederation that gives the confederacy power to speak for the tribes to other governments and allow the tribes to govern themselves. We need to say to The United States, Canada or any other colonial power including Mexico, honor the Nations within your midst. We need to start making relatives again, so the tribes will not become so diluted that their identity is lost. We need to say we have ways of peace and honor, learn from us. Come become one of us and we will teach you the ways of peace and honor. No more will we do as you the colonial powers say, but the ways of our people shall guide us. Big Tree 5/19/2012

Every tribe and in reality every person has their own medicine. Every
person has their own connection to Great Mystery/Creator. Every person
needs no other to heal or guide them to what resides within. Remember
prayer is talking to your source and meditaion is listening to the
wisdom that comes from your own connection. Illness means either you are
out of balance within or you have something special to accomplish that
requires you to know the suffering of others. Either way once you have
accomplished what is necessary you can heal yourself. All the medicine
people, doctors or any other healing art does is help you to heal yourself.

Today is Sunday, holy to the Christians for some reason. Yesterday was the Sabbath holy to the Jews for some reason. The day before was Friday holy to the Muslims for some reason. among our people everyday is Holy. Everyday is a wholeday to be started by listening to the morning chorus of joyful greetings shared by the birds and other creatures. Started by talking to Great mystery/Creator and taking time to listen to the messages he sends. Being grateful later in the day when he sends additional lessons in the form of people/clouds/ animals/ the wind spirits or even the water spirits to remind you of your humanness and need for something greater. Later when you are ready to fall asleep you ask Great Mystery to help you fall asleep and bring you dreams so you can process that days lessons and take them with you if you choose to go die or use them on the following day. We say this religion or that guarantees you access to Heaven. I doubt that very much. The studies of near death shows that every religion encounters what they have been taught. I have crossed over five times. The first time when I was ten. That time I was none religious and just went into a white light. I became part of the light and was pain free, knew something I was unable to bring back and felt rather then heard a voice resonating within "Your purpose has not been served your time has not yet come." Then i found myself waking up to intense pain from major burns over sixty per cent of my body. I will share some of my other experiences in following Elders Wisdom. Since that time I either see or know things before they happen or can feel things others have lived through either in this lifetime or others. Wars do not show the best of civilization, they show man's savagery. Wars do not make for gain of one people by the misfortune of others, they slowly destroy the best of both. Wars are primarily against the women of both sides. It is the women who send their husbands, fathers sons off to war. It is the women who are raped and left hungry, broken in spirit and alone. Let then the women rise up and demand of their men in every nation on earth, No more wars. No more killing for some thing called national interest, which means they have something we want to steal. No more spending our nations riches and lifeblood on winning something that has never produced a winner. War is insanity and the women are the last sane voice left to be heard. Please women of the world demand of your husbands, sons, fathers and friends to promise, "I will make war no more forever." Use the money saved to house, clothe, feed and educate everyone. I met a older man of origin I didn't know who shared some wisdom with me a long time back. As we sat on a bench looking out over a park he told me his story. He pointed out a large group having a good time across from us. He said my wife passed about from cancer about forty years ago. Before she passed she told me something I have followed from that day until now. Do what is good for you, and good for others. Live life as a adventure. When something excites you give it your passion. Shortly after I found out a girl nearby was pregnant. Her family had thrown her out and she didn't have any place to go. I took her in, and after about two months, married her so her baby could have a name and a father. We have had our up's and downs. But she gave me five children. She is over there with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I started a business shortly after we got married and it has prospered. All of my children have enjoyed the fruits of my labors. So never turn away from someone or something that interest you. Follow your heart and follow your dreams. Big Tree 4/28/12

first, the need for shelter, the need for food, the need for health, the
need for clothing, the need for education, the need to contribute and
the need for companionship. Every thing else is a want, not neccesary
for the growth or well being of the person.

It will make a big difference when they turn on the masters. When they say take your greed and shove it. when they say to the politician walk your talk. It doesn't matter what race, nationality or religion, they were born into, the blindfold has been removed and they are demanding equal pay for equal work, a voice in what they do, a voice in government, a voice in every area of life. the Indians had this all along and offered it to the colonist in the beginning, now what we offered is being accepted by the great grand children of those who put their feet on our necks. It is time. time for the women of the world to stand up to the men and say no more war. Women are more affected by war then men are. They send their children and husbands to war, only to get back a shell or a body or nothing at all. They suffer rape, mutilation or forced prostitution at the hands of the soldiers. They are made homeless, widowed or bereaved no matter how far from the fighting they may be. If they are to be killed, raped or ravished let it be for standing between the warriors and saying no more fighting. No more of the insanity called war. From this day forward we will support only men who stand for and work for peace and understanding between all people.

As the Spring Solstice comes up on the 20th. Earhkeepers will once again hold public ceremonies. This is one of the few times when Earthkeepers stand with those who are not in healing ceremony of Mother Earth and all her Children.
I used to fast for four days before conducting the ceremonies. Now due to heart disease and diabetes I can't fast even for a few hours. I used to stay u all night tending the sacred fire, giving voice to the failures of the previous three months and offering the herbs of the four directions in atonement for the two legged's failures. Then from midnight until sunrise offering the same herbs in recognition of the hopes of all Mothers Children being sent up as prayers. Then at sunrise greeting the Sun as we have always done. " Good morning Grandfather. Thank you for your light and warmth. Thank you for impregnating Mother that we her children might have life. Above all Grandfather thank you for providing a pale reminder of the far greater light beyond." Then facing South, we begin the ceremony. " Spirit of the South, Spirit of Love, Adulthood, and the time of growth. We the caretakers of this land ask that you come and aid in this our healing Ceremonies. Then we offer a gift of cornmeal or corn pollen to the spirit of the South." next we move to the Western side of the ceremony area. "Spirit of the west, spirit of the ancestors, spirit of wisdom and strength. We the caretakers of this land ask that you come and aid in healing of Mother and all her children." Then we offer again the gift of corn meal or corn pollen to the spirit of the West. Then we move to the North side of the ceremony ground. " Spirit of the North, Spirit of renewal and beginnings. Spirit of Healing we ask for your aide in healing Mother Earth and all her Children.' Then we give a offering of corn meal/corn pollen to the spirit of the North. Then we return to the Eastern side of the ceremony grounds. "Spirit of the East, Spirit of Vision, Spirit of Spirit of things to come, Spirit of the coming season, we ask your help in Healing Mother Earth and all her Children." then we give once again the gift of corn meal/corn pollen. Finally we move to the center of the Ceremony grounds. "Great Mystery/ Creator we ask you that you use us your Children to act as hollow reeds, hollow bones to send your healing light to Mother Earth and all Her Children. " The you stand in silence and allow the healing energy, light or whatever you call it to flow through you to Mother and all her children. Then you give a gift of corn meal/corn pollen to the Creator. Finish with the simple Aho or Amen and leave the ceremony area to partake of a breaking of bread/pot-latch with the other people attending. So goes the Spring Ceremony The next season finds you beginning in the West and finishing in the South. and so on.

As a Earthkeeper, i am responsible for Mother everywhere. Each and every Medicine wheel serves one of two purposes. The large one's are to heal the relationship between the two legged and Mother. The small one's like this are to heal land that has been bulldozed, raped of it's tree's or developed where you can't even feel any relationship between the land and you. They work like a shot in the arm for Mother and if not felt by Man is still conducive to all life in it's area of influence. In this case the Wheel was built with pebbles in the corner of a new development. It wasn't for people to see, but for being felt by Mother and all her children. like device. Every religion has portions of the truth and none have all
of it. Spirituality is a individual way of life. Not bound by rules but
by what you feel and how you relate to yourself and others. Religion is
a way to relate to the people in your church, Spirituality is a way to
relate to the world.

No matter where you are in life be it the newborn, the youth, the adults
or the elders you have a purpose in life and to the others in life's
wheel. The newborn to teach care and responsibility to the adults. The
youth to teach fun and learning ability to the elders and adults. The
adults to care for and protect the children and elders. The elders to
teach the youth and the adults that everything comes full circle.

I remember the first time I sat in council at 13. The person who called the council, though I forget it' purpose now, spoke first. I remember her telling what the problem was and asking for help in resolving it. Slowly each of us in the room gave our understanding of the problem until after four rounds and we were ready to say consensus has not been reached. I was the next to last person to speak when I had a idea. As it came my turn I asked the one person who was blocking why he was doing so. It turned out he was afraid the he would have to help with the cost. Also turned out the village had extra money set aside for such emergencies. Once that was understood, consensus was reached and we finished the business. I had remembered one of the lessons from a few days before. If you disagree on something, obviously one of you is asking the wrong question. I thought of this because of a question someone asked me a couple of days ago. Hope it helps someone. Remember sometimes the person you need to ask a new question to might be you.

All negative emotions stem from fear. Control fear and you control greed which is fear of not enough, lust which stems from the same emotion and all other negative thoughts and emotions. How do you control fear, by recognizing for what it is when it comes up and thinking of something positive in place of it.

to honor and access both.

To begin the healing process which we all need in order to live life to it's fullest we meed to meditate. In order to use meditation to it's fullest, we have to before going into meditation ask our self a question that we do not have the answer to. A good question to ask in the beginning is "What is the main thing I am doing that I need to change."

Meditation is need for renewal, understanding and even answers to problems. First before you even start to meditate each time, ask yourself any question you can't answer for yourself. The use the following technique to deepen your meditation. Breath in thru your nose for a count of four. Hold your breath for a count of four. Breath out thru your mouth for a count of twelve. Repeat for either three or more times (up to twelve). Just enjoy the time in meditation. Sometimes you will get your answer during meditation, but usually it will come unexpectedly from some source within the next week. So use the meditation to renew yourself and expect it to help you in your life as a side affect.

The biggest lesson to learn is, we are all alike. We are all special. We
all are different in some unique way. We all have a gift or something to
share that can and will make a difference to someone or mankind. If
nothing else share your dreams, even the ones you have killed in your
quest to make a living. Often we get so wrapped up in making a living we
forget to live,

Love has to start with love for self. Without that you can not love others. No amount of things can or ever will replace love. A desire for and system based on things leads to greed and a unending consumption and misery for everyone involved.

Nature is ever changing. Everything in nature grows, changes, dies and is reused. That should be the same with mankind. Always be ready to grown ,change, die and be reused for some other purpose as Great Mystery/Creator ordained. Everything you use or construct should be made and used in the same manner.

Being either a hollow bone or hollow reed means allowing something higher then self to take over for the greater good. It's not a process you control or can direct. The person or thing being helped knows what is needed, just allow the energy to flow through you.

Once you go to the other side these lessons are learned and purpose served. However as long

as you are here you have to deal with the problems and opportunities of
this life. Either you keep growing with the changes you encounter or you
fall back and have to learn the same lessons over and over.
