You want to learn the secrets of a medicine person? The biggest secret

is not the healing ability's but the attitude each of them share. Most
medicine is personal, so learn to look at the world as they do, learn to
see the world as a whole. Learn to see the world as a beautiful place
where we are all related. Learn to see yourself not as apart from nature
but a part of nature. Learn to see all life as related, even the rocks
and waters have life.

and do that something else, you say later. The same with walking your
pathway in life, something comes up, you notice it and say later. In
both cases you stay on what is working for you and that way you get more
done in a day and more done in your life.

A Christmas/New years hope.

During this season celebrating the birth of the prince of peace, I wish for the end of governments and so called religious leaders invoking war in the name of god. I seek the overthrow of anyone calling for the killing of another human being as a false leader. I seek the money and material used in the pursuit of war to be used to solve mankind's problems. First to feed and cloth all the children of the world. Second to provide medicine and shelter to all mankind. Third to do away with nations and governments and allow everyone to go where they wish and live as they desire. I seek a world where everyone has a purpose and the opportunity to achieve that purpose. I seek a world where no one is put down as being less then anyone else. Where Men and woman are honored for being instead of used and abused because they dare to be different. this is my dream, if I can dream it, we can as men and women and children can make it come into being. I ask then dear Great Mystery/Creator that you give me the strength and wisdom to do my share in making my dream a reality. No more killing in the name of some vengeful god but instead mankind reminded we are all our brothers keepers and the caretakers of our mother the Earth.

Remember when you try to bring up young people to show respect. First you have to respect them. Second you can not teach them just meaningless words, you have to show them with your actions. Third you can't fake either of the previous mentioned things. That is why politics and organized religion are loosing the influence they once had. Neither has anyone leading who lives what they talk or shows the way with their life.

Do you follow the pathway and words of your elders or do you remember the best from them concerning change and how to deal with it? All elders want to see the best of what they stood for saved and used as a launching pad for new thoughts, actions and understanding built on what they gave to you and made better. If you are stuck in the past you are just treading water. If you are stuck in today you are drowning from lack of purpose. If you work to make everyone's life better you are the elders of the future and are swimming upstream.

To live is to be full of energy. To die is to be empty of energy. Science says you can not create or destroy energy only change it's state of being. Since life is being full of energy or animated, death in turn means that energy has changed state. It no longer animates a body just now is free of bodily constraints. Thought itself is also energy, when you no longer think that doesn't mean that the energy no longer exists, only that it has changed state. If life is a lesson to be learned or purpose to be served, then death is the end of that particular lesson or purpose. Life goes on, just not in that identifiable body.

Life can be great or terrible, that's either your choice or your plan for life.
However life can be filled with purpose or just drifting no matter who or what you are.
If you try to make a change in the world around you, no matter how big or small, you will be remembered as someone who led the way, even if you fail.
However if you just drift, do what you have to to get by or ignore the pleas for help you won't be remembered except by your immediate family.
Which life do you choose, aimless and drifting or committed and purpose driven?
