Nature is teaching us. Look at the draughts, heat waves, oily rain, record snows and die offs of our brothers and sisters among the four legged, swimming and standing people. See the record earthquakes and the shifting of the Gulf Stream which will bring another ice age to Europe. We never learn.

Worry not about what someone will take from you, Creator gave it for your use and can give it to another. Worry that when you return to Creator you will be asked what have you done to make life better for me while you lived. How did you treat me when I stood before you as a poor, black, Indian, rich woman or stranger?

Our sons and daughters are sent to die in one senseless, unnecessary, brutal war after another, solely to feed the gluttony of the rich and powerful who supply the weapons and the fraudulent reasons for the wars; all sanitized by endless flag -waving, massive propaganda, patriotic music and ceremonies at which they (and their children) bid farewell to your children as they go off to "die for the cause".

Man has forgotten his purpose here. Respect nature for we are the caretakers. Respect each other for each has purpose. Religion and the greed which drives it as a barrier between Creator and mankind has given mankind the wrong impression that he/she is superior to nature or to other people. Like Grandmother said all religions have some truth but none have the whole truth. Because man has distorted the teachings. I am too tired to try and teach that any more.

The giveaway, the helping of others without question and the accepting of people from other tribes and nations is all part of being Indian. More then a few were welcomed into the village of Kinzu while I was there. More then a few were supported by the community because they couldn't find work. Everyone had a voice in what went on and the women were the court.
Then we think we are civilized because of corrupt police forces, corrupt politicians and corrupt business practices designed only to take and never give. I for one prefer the uncivilized acceptance of every man and woman as valuable to this civilization controlled by the great god money.

Let it now be said that giving of frogskins (money) after they have given of their service and wisdom is part of the tradition too. After all he or she has to live and eat and heat their home also. He or she gives something much more valuable then mere money when they submit themselves to service, so remember this when it comes time to give thanks to them.

Affect is supposed to follow cause, so remember that the right time may not be this second but if you know something has to be done, follow with action as soon as you are able.

Doing right means among many things serving the people. It means putting others first rather then yourself. It means defending the right of the tribes to hold the lands in common and select their own way of governing themselves without outside interference. It means that the tribes have to unite and stand up to the outside governments who have decided that they have to live like the colonialist. The reason their were so many tribes was because each of them had a different history and shared only little with their neighbors. Now they need to come together and save their culture and their governments from the attacks from outside.
