A hollow reed/bone is and acts as a conduit for healing, renewal and cleansing for whoever/whatever we are serving to help. The thing is we have to get our expectations and thoughts on the process out of the way and allow Creator/Great Mystery to do the work and allow whoever/whatever we are serving as a helper for to use Creators power to do what they wish in the matter.
