One of my favorite guided meditations is this one.

Picture yourself at your favorite place in the whole world. Enjoy it, breath deeply and allow it to help wash away every daily care. Notice a faint trail leading somewhere else. Follow that trail as it leads gently upward. you come to a small stream bisecting the trail, and pass it. You notice a dwelling on one side with a friendly inhabitant who you greet but continue on the trail. you come to a door in a wall which swings open as you approach. You enter to find a hallway lined with doors labeled healing, love, wisdom, and many other doors with small labels on them, you choose one and enter to find something glorious and special. You stay for a while then come back to where you started.

Elders Wisdom: The mark of a good leader is not his leading into war or controlling of a large army or police force. The mark of a good leader is he/she who empowers the people so that armies and police are not needed. The person who finds ways to meet the needs of his/her people without use of fear or lies. The person who leads by example instead of soothing words.

My dream

My Dream

Mankind today is like the licking of the flames in a campfire. Consuming ever, eating everything, reaching higher to consume more until there is nothing left to consume. It's purpose under either major economic model is to consume until we have nothing left to feed upon. Then to die swiftly from our own greed.

However we do have a different model to work with. We like all animals upon our Mother the Earth have a purpose in nature. We are to be the caretakers of Mother and all life. Instead have become the cancer destroying life.

Our job has been and still is to be good stewards. To care for each other and all other forms of life instead of being a cancer or fire ever seeking more. We are to be like water: filling, giving life and companionship to each other. We learn war and greed from childhood on. Even our entertainment worships war and greed. It's time for mankind to pause and renew our oneness with all that is and take our place in this world.

Today I got reminded of a truth which I must share. When you harbor fear, resentment, hate or any of the negative emotions, you are as sick as if you had cancer, or any other disease. Until you are ready to give up any negativity you can not be cured of anything brought on by it. It does not affect the people who the negativity is directed at but the person who harbors the negativity.
Please be ready to change yourself if you are going to heal yourself.
